The principal of the Doyle Homeschool kindly gave us the week off to enjoy my parents' visit and the girls hit the ground running, recruiting Paka to play the game he always plays with them-Katie the Lion. Technically, the name of the game should be changed to Katie the Dog because Katie- Grace- has decided she doesn't want to be a lion. There really aren't any rules to this game. Larry the Gorilla goes around chasing the other animals- Rose the Owl, Katie the Dog and Jenny the Giraffe. He catches them and puts them in jail where I think they stay about as long as they want to and then start running around again. We took the game to the playground where the girls had a great time tearing through the woods hiding from Paka who is staying very young keeping up with his grandchildren!
