When we asked the kids where they wanted to spend the day with Grandma and Paka, it was unanimous- the Downtown Aquarium! They love the DTAQ because it has interesting exhibits that are perfect for short attention spans and with the price of admission they get unlimited rides on the ferris wheel, the carousel, the lighthouse drop and the train. Today, we watched the biologists feed the piranhas, saw the white Bengal tiger and touched stingrays which were incredibly friendly, almost jumping over the side to get us to pet them. We were nearly the only ones there and were able to go from ride to ride with no lines. Grandma commented that she liked it even more than the Baltimore Aquarium- high praise indeed!
"You're that shark aren't you?" "No Ma'am, just a harmless dolphin."
Yes Ella can still fit in the Bjorn!
