We start them off young at The Doyle Home School. Ella can (occasionally) point out the different colored beads on the abacus but mostly just likes moving them around.

Finally, Ella models her new hat. We went to a new playground today (a major highlight of the day for this self-proclaimed playground connoisseur). One of the moms brought a box of crocheted hats that she makes as a little side business. I bought two.
