Yesterday, Ella went forward-facing in her car seat for the first time. She doesn't quite meet the weight requirement but we decided to take the plunge anyway because she's getting so long, her legs curl up on her in her other seat. I always love it when babies look forward for the first time. There's a look of wonder at the whole new world in front of them. I kept looking back at Ella who looked like such a big girl it made my heart hurt.
