Last week was Catholic Schools Week, a time to appreciate Catholic education. Like most Catholic schools, Saint Mary Magdalene planned a week's worth of fun activities to celebrate. Unfortunately, Madeleine was sick the first part of the week, and we missed Donuts with Dad and Muffins with Mom, but she did make it back in time to receive her student appreciation award. Her teacher, Mrs. Winicki, was creative and made it a lot of fun for the kids. Madeleine was declared "Most Likely to Appear on TV". Perfect. I had to laugh. Like mother, like daughter!

The Future's So Bright

Ahhh...Donuts with Dad and Muffins with Mom. We had that at the school where I used to teach. If we must have alliteration, then I want Pizza for Parents!
