Just hours after Grace entertained us with the sad story of Daddy's immediate "negative" to her request for a pig and his reminder that Casa Doyle is a pet-free zone, Thomas Henry Doyle crawled into our lives.  Chris found him near our trash cans.  The girls wanted to name him "Jasmine" (which is what they want to name everything--we may have a few granddaughters named Jasmine).   Chris insisted that the turtle is a boy though and they came up with Thomas Henry.  So for the next few days, we have a pet.  He is living in our blue pool among some leaves and sticks the girls have provided to give him a more natural habitat.  We plan to release him at turtle bridge where he will be in turtle heaven playing with all of his new friends.
