Somehow, we're not sure exactly how, Chris and I have a few little entrepreneurs on our hands. On a recent Sunday, they begged to be allowed to have a lemonade stand. Normally, this kind of thing would not be a big deal but because we live in a very private, semi-isolated manner, we had to think the request through. We decided that the girls could carry their table and various business items to the end of our lane and give it their best shot. Ella took it upon herself to be the crier and, holding their sign high, yelled at the top of her lungs, "Lemonade! Lemonade for sale!" Hearing her sweet voice, our very neighborly neighbors appeared with wads of cash and a sudden desire to consume copious amounts of lemonade. The girls made a bundle but I told them clearly that they can only do this once a year lest our neighbors get tired of us.
We really have the world's best neighbors.
I like this picture. You have classic Mia pose - very demure and quiet. Then, Grace has a big smile, full of enthusiasm. And, you can just see Sophie's little sass in her eyes and hips. It's just funny how a simple snapshot can capture so much personality.
